On May 9, 2025, Da Nang AI Day 2025 took place successfully at the Furama International Convention Palace under the theme “Artificial Intelligence – A New Driving Force for Da Nang’s Development.” The event attracted more than 400 participants from Vietnam and around the world, including government leaders, technology experts, businesses, investors, and the innovative startup community. The strong turnout reflected the city’s bold strategic vision to become a leading high-tech hub in Vietnam.

🔹 Event Highlights

Morning Plenary Session:
Top representatives and experts from renowned organizations such as FPT, Atomatic, AIAIVN, VDI, Google, Sovico, KPMG, Marvell, Huawei, VietSol, and French Tech Vietnam gathered to share insights and strategies for developing and applying AI in Vietnam. Key topics included smart cities, digital government, intelligent education, and automated manufacturing. Experiences from developed countries provided valuable and practical perspectives for Da Nang’s own AI roadmap.

Afternoon Thematic Sessions:
Focused discussions were led by global tech leaders and AI infrastructure pioneers including NVIDIA, IPTP Networks Global, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Viettel IDC, Orochi Network, VDI, Grovf Vietnam, Enosta, Alpha Asimov Robotics, and Solana Superteam Vietnam. These sessions explored cutting-edge solutions for AI infrastructure and data optimization in Da Nang. Technologies such as GPUs, DPUs, Infiniband, and zk-based databases were introduced, opening doors for high-performance AI development. Attendees also discussed models for building synchronized and efficient infrastructure systems.

🔹 DSAC – The AI Infrastructure Connector

As the organizer of the afternoon thematic session, the Danang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence for Research and Training Center (DSAC) presented its vision and strategic roadmap for AI infrastructure development in Da Nang. Highlights included:

• Establishing a High-Performance Computing Center powered by GPU and DPU technologies to support advanced AI research and development.
• Developing an AI database system integrated with the city’s digital infrastructure, laying the foundation for smart city applications.
• Supporting digital transformation for local enterprises by providing technological platforms and AI consulting services for industrial and business applications.

🔹 Strategic Partnership Signings

During the event, DSAC also witnessed the signing of several strategic Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs):

• Mobifone: Collaborating to accelerate digital transformation and develop intelligent telecommunications infrastructure.
• Skyline Education: Partnering to advance high-tech education initiatives, including offering a 30–50% tuition reduction for children of AI and semiconductor professionals working in Da Nang.

🔹 AI Technology Exhibition

Alongside the conference, the AI Technology Exhibition showcased the latest solutions in smart city development, data management systems, AI in education, and smart manufacturing. This exhibition provided a valuable platform for businesses and startups to explore cutting-edge innovations and connect with leading strategic partners.
