On June 3, 2025, the 2nd Web3 Builders’ Community Conference took place in Da Nang, themed “The Rise of AI”, gathering over 300 developers, tech businesses, engineers, experts, and startups in Web3, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

With a focus on the convergence of Blockchain and AI, the summit explored how this synergy is unlocking transformative potential across finance, supply chains, and more.

Opening the event, Mr. Le Son Phong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, emphasized the importance of embracing the Web3 x AI revolution. He also reaffirmed the city’s commitment to fostering an open, transparent, and forward-looking policy environment for the tech community.

Afternoon Session – Blockchain x AI Demo Day
Eight Web3/AI startups showcased their products and innovative solutions to the community, investors, and strategic partners.

Notably, Panel 4, titled “Building a Web3 x AI Hub in Da Nang & Vietnam: Opportunities and Challenges”, featured insights from Mr. Le Hoang Phuc, Director of DSAC.
Key topics included:

• Vietnam’s opportunities and obstacles in becoming a regional Web3 x AI center

• A long-term vision for a sustainable Web3 x AI ecosystem with Da Nang at its core—spanning infrastructure, research, education, and talent development

This summit marks a major step forward in connecting Da Nang’s Web3 ecosystem to global networks, paving the way for strategic partnerships, long-term collaboration, and investment in both technology and young talent. As Vietnam—especially the Central region—steps into the global Web3 x AI value chain, it faces critical challenges around legal frameworks, data security, and educational standards. DSAC stands as a pioneer in creating experimental spaces and foundational infrastructure for a Web3 x AI innovation hub in Da Nang.
