DSAC Participates in the Signing Ceremony and Launch of the Network of Centers of Excellence and Talents in AI and Semiconductor Industry in Central Vietnam

On October 3, 2025, representatives of the Da Nang Semiconductor and AI Center (DSAC) attended the Signing Ceremony and Launch of the Network of Centers of Excellence and Talents in Industry 4.0 Technologies, focusing on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Semiconductor Industry. The event was hosted by the University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang (DUT).

The initiative is part of the implementation of Decision No. 374/QĐ-TTg dated February 21, 2025, issued by the Prime Minister, approving the “Project for Developing a Network of Centers of Excellence and Talents in Industry 4.0 Technologies toward 2030,” under the guidance of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).

As announced by MOET on August 8, 2025, 13 national networks have been established, including three in Central Vietnam, with DUT assigned to lead two networks in AI and the semiconductor industry.

During the ceremony, over 20 participating organizations—including universities, research institutes, and technology enterprises—signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to strengthen cooperation in training, research, and innovation. The network aims to standardize curricula, share resources, foster international collaboration, and enhance industry partnerships, particularly in AI and semiconductor technology.

DSAC representatives emphasized that this collaboration plays a pivotal role in connecting the Government, Academia, and Industry, contributing to the development of a high-quality talent ecosystem and supporting Da Nang’s vision of becoming a regional hub for innovation and high technology.

The event marks an important milestone in establishing a collaborative network for training, research, and innovation, while opening new opportunities for deeper cooperation among educational institutions, policymakers, and enterprises. It also contributes to the sustainable development of Vietnam’s talent pool in artificial intelligence and semiconductor technology.
