The ZeBu 5 system was introduced to General Secretary To Lam during his visit to the Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Center at Software Park No. 2 on March 29, 2025. Mr. Trinh Thanh Lam, Strategic Advisor for the City of Da Nang in the semiconductor and AI sectors and currently the Business Director of Synopsys for South Asia and Vietnam, affirmed that Da Nang has the necessary human resources and expertise to operate the most advanced ZeBu 5 system.

Establishing Regional Position

In Southeast Asia, ZeBu 5 has only been deployed at the Phenikaa Microchip Design Training Center in Vietnam. Da Nang becoming the second location for the ZeBu 5 system in the region showcases the city’s role as an important semiconductor research and development center. This move not only enhances the city’s chip innovation capabilities but also opens up access to world-class infrastructure for businesses, universities, and local training centers.
