On the afternoon of June 4, 2025, the Danang Center for Research and Training in Semiconductor Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC), in collaboration with the Danang Information Technology Infrastructure Development Center (IID) – operator of Danang Software Park No. 2, welcomed a distinguished delegation from the Université de Technologie de Troyes (UTT, France) and the University of Science and Technology – University of Danang as part of their official working visit to the city.

This visit reflects Danang’s broader strategy to foster international collaboration in education, research, and technology transfer—especially as the city is implementing Resolution 57-NQ/TW and its roadmap for smart urban development. For many years, UTT has served as an academic destination for outstanding students from Danang, particularly from specialized high schools like Le Quy Don. Today, this partnership continues to expand at the research and academic levels through the joint DUT – UTT research group, focusing on smart data, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and data value chains.

During the meeting, Mr. Pham The Nhan, Deputy Director of IID, provided an overview of Danang Software Park No. 2 and highlighted key incentive policies available to organizations and businesses in high-tech sectors.

The UTT delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Christophe Collet, President of UTT, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Farouk Yalaoui, Director of Research, and Prof. Dr. Lionel Amodeo, Director of the LIST3N Laboratory. The delegation of University of Science and Technology – University of Danang led by Dr. Huynh Nhat To, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Project Management. The DUT – UTT research team presented their key research directions and early outcomes, and engaged in discussions with DSAC on the potential for expanded cooperation in the near future.

Following the discussions, Mr. Le Quang Khai and Mr. Nguyen Tan Huy, technical specialists from DSAC, guided the delegation on a site tour of the infrastructure at both DSAC and Software Park No. 2. The facilities are continuously being upgraded to provide high-tech labs, collaborative workspaces, and a growing innovation ecosystem.

This working session not only reaffirmed the strong ties between the three institutions but also laid the groundwork for strategic initiatives in semiconductor engineering education, AI development, and digital transformation in Central Vietnam. DSAC firmly believes that sustained collaboration between universities, research institutions, and tech centers will be instrumental in accelerating Danang’s innovation ecosystem to the next level.
