The preliminary round in Da Nang was lively, with participation from over 70 students representing 17 teams from leading universities in the Central region, including the University of Danang – University of Science and Technology, Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, Hue University, and FPT University Da Nang.

The projects submitted were quite diverse and applicable in the fields of IC design and artificial intelligence, featuring impressive themes such as: encryption IP, AI chips for data centers, network management switches, and smart elevator control.

Fifteen outstanding teams have secured their spots in the next round—the product refinement phase, which will take place at the High-Tech Park in Ho Chi Minh City and other hosting units. During this stage, the teams will receive comprehensive training from leading industry experts and work on real-world challenges in IC design and the latest advanced solutions.
