According to Decision No. 34/2025/QĐ-UBND dated April 29, 2025, the People’s Committee of Danang officially assigns the management of the Free Trade Zone and the Centralized IT Zone to the Danang High-Tech Park and Industrial Zones Authority. With this expanded mandate, the Authority’s English name has been updated from DHPIZA to DSEZA – Da Nang Specific Economic Zones Authority, reflecting a broader scope and strategic vision.

As part of this decision, the Danang Center for Research and Training in IC Design and Artificial Intelligence, a unit under DSEZA, has been renamed Danang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Center. More than just a name change, this marks a pivotal transition: from a research and training-focused entity to one that actively engages in investment promotion, startup support, business linkage, and the development of Danang’s semiconductor and AI industry ecosystem.

💡 The internationally recognized brand DSAC – Da Nang Semiconductor and AI Center remains unchanged, preserving its credibility and reputation among domestic and international stakeholders. The English name has been refined for clarity and modern appeal, dropping the former “for Research and Training” extension.
