On June 9, 2025, the Da Nang Semiconductor and AI Center for Research and Training (DSAC) had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the Faculty of Engineering, Naresuan University (Thailand), as part of their working visit to Da Nang. The visit aimed to explore the city’s investment environment, technology ecosystem, and potential for collaboration in advanced technology training and research.

During the meeting, Mr. Phuc Le – Director of DSAC – provided an overview of the Center’s mission, functions, and strategic activities in building capabilities, fostering ecosystem connections, and driving innovation in the fields of semiconductors and artificial intelligence.
Following the introduction, Ms. Quynh Anh Le – Acting Head of Research and International Cooperation – presented a comprehensive view of Da Nang’s technology ecosystem, structured around three key pillars:
✅ Policy: incentive mechanisms, sandbox policies, and legal frameworks to support emerging technologies;
✅ Infrastructure: high-tech parks, data centers, semiconductor and AI labs;
✅ Talent: engineering training programs, hackathons, and innovation playgrounds for students and startups.
The delegation expressed strong interest in the city’s dynamic development strategy and progressive policy environment designed to foster cutting-edge technology sectors. They were particularly impressed by the Hackathon competitions and innovation programs for students and startups in Da Nang, recognizing them as effective models for bridging academia and industry.
