DSAC WELCOMES DELEGATION OF OREGON HOUSE REPRESENTATIVES, UNITED STATES

On the morning of September 8th, 2025, DSAC Center had the honor of welcoming the delegation led by Rep. Daniel Loc Nguyen, State representative of Oregon, Chair of the committee on economic development, trade and small business, member of the subcomittees on budget & taxation and transportation, Oregon House of Representative, Unites States.
📌 Mr. Le Hoang Phuc, Director of DSAC presented an overview of Da Nang’s socio-economic development, highlighting the city’s strategy to position itself as a hub for finance and high technology. He also emphasized ongoing efforts in developing core technologies, particularly semiconductors and AI, as well as policies to support startups and nurture a highly skilled workforce.
🤝 Both sides engaged in open and constructive discussions on potential areas of cooperation, emphasizing the importance of strengthening partnerships between the United States, particularly the State of Oregon and Da Nang in high-tech manufacturing, semiconductors, and AI.
The meeting provided a strong foundation for future collaboration, especially as Da Nang accelerates the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo and special policies for the city’s development.
The visit of a delegation from Oregon House of Representatives reflects the commitment of both parties to fostering multi-sector cooperation, promoting sustainable development, innovation, and global integration thereby deepening Vietnam-U.S. relations and strengthening the partnership between Oregon and Da Nang.
