With the goal of advancing the semiconductor industry and developing high-quality human resources in this field for Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular, the DSAC Center coordinated with TECOTEC Group Joint Stock Company, TUMIKI Joint Stock Company, and K&H MFG Co., Ltd. to organize a working session with universities and colleges in Da Nang.
On the morning of August 8, 2024, an important working session took place in Da Nang between the DSAC Center, TECOTEC Group Joint Stock Company, TUMIKI Joint Stock Company, and representatives from local educational institutions. The meeting was organized to promote strategic cooperation in the development of the semiconductor industry—one of the key industries prioritized for growth by Da Nang—while also aiming to train high-quality human resources to meet the sector’s demands.

Meeting Overview Scene
Mr. Pham Ngoc Phuc, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TECOTEC Group, introduced the training program that TECOTEC is developing to support educational institutions in Da Nang. This program includes intensive courses on IC design and manufacturing, providing knowledge ranging from basic to advanced levels, aligned with international standards.
In addition, TECOTEC Group is offering modern equipment such as IC testing machines, semiconductor analysis tools, and advanced simulation software to support students in their learning and research activities. The company will also provide several scholarships for outstanding students, giving them opportunities to study and intern at domestic and international enterprises.

This program is designed to train engineers in the field of Integrated Circuit (IC) Design and Advanced Technology Packaging (ATP), including packaging, testing, and fabrication processes.
IC Design Training Cooperation
The IC Design training program aims to equip students with the essential knowledge and skills to become IC design engineers. The program includes:
- 2+2 Training Program: Students will receive living expense support throughout their studies and practical training. Upon graduation, engineers are required to work at related factories for a minimum of 3 years.
- 3+2 Training Program: Students will have the opportunity to pursue a Master’s program supported by the National Development Fund and partner enterprises. After graduation, engineers are expected to work at partnering companies for at least 2 years.
ATP Training Cooperation
The ATP program focuses on training engineers in the areas of packaging, testing, and fabrication process engineering. The program includes:
- 2+2 Training Program: Students in this track will be supported with living expenses during their study and hands-on training. After graduation, they are committed to working at factories for at least 3 years.
- 3+1 Training Program: Students will receive financial support for living expenses and are required to work at factories for a minimum of 3 years upon graduation.
