📍 Continuing a series of high-tech development initiatives in Da Nang, on the morning of March 29, 2025, the Danang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence for Research and Training (DSAC) solemnly held the opening ceremony of advanced training courses in the fields of semiconductors and artificial intelligence (AI). This is not merely an educational event, but also a significant step in the city’s long-term strategy to develop a high-quality workforce, contributing to Da Nang’s vision of becoming a high-tech hub in Central Vietnam.

🔍 Highlights from 2024:

✅ Five universities in Da Nang officially launched undergraduate programs in semiconductor engineering, with plans to enroll 450 students starting August 2024. This marks a key milestone in the formation of a local ecosystem for semiconductor training and research.

✅ In addition, DSAC organized three conversion training programs, supporting graduates from related disciplines to transition into semiconductor design. The initiative attracted 41 students and 59 lecturers, in collaboration with strategic partners including Synopsys, Arizona State University (USA), and the Vietnam National University – Hanoi’s Institute of Information Technology.

🎓 Opening of the advanced training program – A starting point for a new generation of high-tech engineers
During the ceremony, DSAC partnered with leading international organizations such as Synopsys, Intel, TreSemi (a U.S. technology expert group), and Sovico Group (GASA) to launch intensive training courses in semiconductor and AI. The program targets 80 participants, including lecturers, engineers, and students active in the high-tech sector in Da Nang, equipping them with practical knowledge and skills to meet the growing demand for talent in the semiconductor and AI industries.

Notably, on the same morning, General Secretary To Lam visited the specialized training lab located at Da Nang Software Park No. 2, where he conducted a site inspection and meeting. He expressed his delight at Da Nang’s progress in high-tech development and emphasized the crucial role of science and technology in driving sustainable economic and social growth.
