On the morning of June 18, the Da Nang Semiconductor and AI Center (DSAC) participated in the official launch of the “AI for the Future” 2025 initiative—a key milestone in the strategic collaboration between Google and the National Innovation Center (NIC) to position Vietnam as a prominent regional AI hub.

With the presence and direction of Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Chí Dũng, the event underscored the Vietnamese Government’s strong commitment to making science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation the driving forces for sustainable national growth. The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the partnership between Google and domestic institutions and called on Google to continue its support for Vietnam in the following areas: establishing AI training centers, developing a high-quality workforce, strengthening the AI innovation ecosystem, and contributing to the legal framework for safe and responsible AI development.

At the event, Google, NIC, and DSAC officially introduced two flagship programs for AI startups in 2025:

🎯 Google for Startups AI Solutions Lab 2025 – GenAI Hackathon
Held over four days in Da Nang, this hackathon will bring together 50 outstanding local and international startups to build GenAI-based solutions that address real-world challenges in the community and business landscape.
DSAC proudly supports this initiative by offering six months of free co-working space and tailored incentives for participating teams—creating the best possible environment for startups to grow their ideas into impactful products.
The top 10 teams will have the opportunity to present their solutions to investors and strategic partners at Google Vietnam’s premier AI event in September 2025, unlocking new avenues for funding and collaboration.

🎯 Google for Startups AI Bootcamp 2025
This three-day intensive program in Ho Chi Minh City will train 100 AI startups in the latest applications and tools provided by Google, equipping them with practical knowledge to scale and succeed in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

In parallel, Google and NIC have awarded over 60,000 scholarships through the Digital Talent Development Program, in collaboration with more than 100 universities and community organizations nationwide. The training focuses on high-demand skills such as data analytics, UX design, digital marketing, e-commerce, and foundational AI knowledge. Notably, the Google AI Essentials course—a self-paced 10-hour program—is now available in Vietnamese, enabling broader access to responsible and effective use of generative AI.
