DSAC HOSTS THE DA NANG SEMICONDUCTOR AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BUSINESS CONNECTIVITY CONFERENCE

In order to provide an overview of the implementation results of activities in the semiconductor and artificial intelligence (AI) sectors in 2025, and to outline key task orientations for 2026, the Da Nang Semiconductor and AI Center (DSAC), with the approval of the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, organized the Da Nang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Business Connectivity Conference.

In 2025, Da Nang City continued to identify semiconductors and artificial intelligence as foundational technology sectors, playing a critical role in the digital transformation process and serving as new drivers of economic growth. Accordingly, a wide range of policies, programs, and activities have been implemented in a coordinated manner, focusing on promoting international cooperation, expanding engagement with domestic and international enterprises, and strengthening linkages among educational institutions, research institutes, and businesses. These efforts aim to develop high-quality human resources, promote technology transfer, and gradually complete the city’s semiconductor and artificial intelligence ecosystem.

At the conference, Mr. Le Son Phong, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology, chaired the discussion session with the participation of representatives from enterprises, educational institutions, and experts in the field. The discussions focused on reviewing the outcomes of research, training, and human resource development activities in 2025; identifying challenges and difficulties encountered by enterprises and organizations; and exchanging views on the city’s future development orientations in the semiconductor and artificial intelligence sectors. These exchanges serve as a basis for proposing appropriate tasks and solutions in line with practical conditions and current regulations.

The conference served as an important forum to strengthen connectivity and coordination among state management agencies, educational institutions, research institutes, and the business community, thereby promoting the Government – Academia – Industry linkage, aligning training with practical needs, and connecting research with applications and the market. The event also demonstrated the attention and active support of city departments and agencies for the semiconductor and artificial intelligence business community, contributing to a favorable environment for cooperation, investment, and sustainable development in Da Nang’s high-technology sectors.
