From September 30 to October 4, 2024, the Center for Research and Training in Semiconductor Design and Artificial Intelligence had the opportunity to welcome and work with the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang, the Da Nang Institute for Nuclear Energy, SUS Company, KPMG, and TECOTEC Company on potential investment and cooperation opportunities in the fields of semiconductor design and artificial intelligence.
During the working sessions, the Center held a meeting with the Consul General of Japan in Da Nang, Mr. Mori Takero, who emphasized the importance of developing high technology in Vietnam. He stated that collaboration between enterprises and research institutions from both countries would not only accelerate the growth of the semiconductor industry but also contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence technology — a field that is becoming increasingly vital in the global economy.

DSAC Center Welcomes the Consul General of Japan in Da Nang
As part of the program, the DSAC Center also held working sessions with the Da Nang Institute for Nuclear Energy, SUS Company, KPMG, and TECOTEC. Each partner brought unique perspectives and potential in the fields of semiconductor and artificial intelligence:
- Da Nang Institute for Nuclear Energy: With extensive experience in nuclear energy research and application, the institute aims to contribute foundational technologies necessary for the development of efficient semiconductor material solutions.
- SUS Company: Known for its advanced technological products, SUS expressed interest in collaborating on investment projects related to raw equipment used in machinery and systems for chip design.
- KPMG: As one of the leading consulting firms, KPMG proposed several collaboration initiatives to attract foreign investment and enhance the competitiveness of the semiconductor and AI industries in Da Nang.
- TECOTEC: Specializing in semiconductor design, TECOTEC shared valuable insights on developing digital infrastructure and supporting training programs for faculty and lab development. These efforts are aimed at effectively implementing the MoU signed with DSAC in August.

The collaboration between the Center for Research and Training in IC Design and Artificial Intelligence and both domestic and international partners has opened up numerous investment opportunities. The parties have agreed on strategic directions to create a favorable environment for research, new product development, and high-quality human resource training in the high-tech sector.
