DSAC and Veron Group Discuss Strategic Training Collaboration in Semiconductors and AI
On July 7, 2025, the Danang Semiconductor & AI Center (DSAC) held a working session with Veron Group to discuss potential collaboration in training and development across key technology sectors, including semiconductors, artificial intelligence (AI), and the Internet of Things (IoT).

During the meeting, Veron Group presented an overview of its current core operations, focusing on three key areas: semiconductor training and research, AI development, and IoT application. In the semiconductor domain, Veron operates a dedicated training institute and a research center, and has launched four core training programs comprising a total of 18 courses covering frontend, backend, and ATP (Assembly, Testing, and Packaging).
These training programs are tailored to diverse learner groups—including university lecturers, students, and technicians. Among them, the practical IC design engineering program stands out, with a unique model combining theoretical study and hands-on practice in a real-world corporate environment.
In the field of artificial intelligence, Veron is currently implementing nationwide AI training programs targeting civil servants, public employees, and the general workforce. A notable example is its AI chatbot system designed to enhance the effectiveness of public online services.
For IoT, Veron is actively exploring AI-IoT integration to support businesses in automation and digital transformation. It is also developing advanced models such as AI-native systems and AI Agents, aiming to build a systematic operations platform (“AI Factory”). Initial phases of this initiative are expected to receive support from central government agencies and specialized partners.
In the course of discussion, both parties reached consensus on several cooperation directions. DSAC and Veron will establish a technology–training alliance, in which Veron will transfer technology systems, while DSAC will provide workspace, specialized software, and technical infrastructure. Additionally, DSAC plans to support Veron in establishing a Research & Development (R&D) Center in Software Park No. 2, following a start-up model.
Both sides also agreed to co-organize a series of technical workshops on semiconductors, IC design, and AI, aimed at strengthening expert networks, promoting market engagement, and disseminating emerging technological knowledge. Regarding the practical IC design training program, DSAC committed to providing facilities, laboratory space, and licensed training software.
This session reaffirmed the strong potential for partnership between DSAC and Veron Group in advancing high-quality human resource development and fostering a vibrant technology ecosystem in Da Nang—aligning with the city’s long-term orientation toward high-tech development.
