📌 May 19, 2025 – DSAC coordinated with strategic partners to organize the FPGA Design Open 2025 Competition.
This event is part of DSAC’s series of activities aimed at training and developing high-quality human resources, continuing the successes of:
  • Smart City Semiconductor Design Competition – Season 2 (in cooperation with the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park), where Da Nang teams achieved 1 Third Prize and 3 Promising Awards, highlighting the strong potential of semiconductor design talents in Central Vietnam.
  • Imagine Cup 2025 (in collaboration with Microsoft), where two outstanding teams from Da Nang, Danang Speech (University of Information and Communication Technology, University of Danang) and Omniglot (Vietnam-UK Institute for Research and Training, University of Danang), proudly represented Vietnam in the World Semifinals.
🔹MOU Signing and Launching FPGA Intensive Training Program
During the event, DSAC Center and international companies including Gowin Semiconductor, Willas Electronics, Sonix, OneKiwi Technology, Leci Ltd. officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for semiconductor workforce training and the FPGA Design Open 2025. This marks a crucial step in building a high-tech workforce ecosystem, contributing to Da Nang’s vision of becoming a regional semiconductor design hub.
Alongside the competition, the Free FPGA Training Program was also launched, taking place from May 20 to May 23, 2025, at the DSAC Lab. Students participating will have the opportunity to learn from leading industry experts, access the latest FPGA technologies, and receive Certificates of Completion from partner companies after successfully completing the program.
🔹Sponsorship Announcement and Honoring Outstanding Achievements
As part of the event, international partners including Gowin Semiconductor, Willas Electronics, OneKiwi Technology, Leci Ltd., and Semiconductor Test Vietnam announced a $8,000 sponsorship (nearly 200 million VND) in cash and equipment to fully support the participating teams.
Through this event, DSAC Center and its partners aim to establish a solid foundation for the training and development of semiconductor human resources in Central Vietnam, contributing to the realization of Da Nang’s ambition to become a leading technology hub in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
