ANNOUNCEMENT OF REGISTERED TEAMS FOR THE 3RD IC DESIGN CONTEST FOR SMART CITIES IN DA NANG
The excitement surrounding the 3rd IC Design Contest for Smart Cities is continuing to spread, contributing to a vibrant and dynamic summer atmosphere in Da Nang and the Central region of Vietnam.
As of now, the competition has attracted participation from 4 universities in Da Nang City, marking positive early signals for this year’s semiconductor-focused competition season.
The Organizing Committee would like to announce the list of registered teams in Da Nang up to the present time as follows:
📍 Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, The University of Danang: 9 teams
📍 The University of Danang – University of Science and Technology: 6 teams
📍 FPT University: 3 teams
📍 Duy Tan University: 1 team
📌 The registration portal remains open and will continue accepting applications until May 25, 2026.

The IC Design Contest for Smart Cities is an annual competition organized by the Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Park Management Board. In Da Nang, the Department of Science and Technology collaborates in the implementation of the competition, while the DSAC Center — an affiliated unit of the Department — serves as the organizing body for the regional qualifying rounds in Central Vietnam.
The competition contributes to strengthening the “3+ Stakeholders” connection model, while also promoting the development of young talent in the fields of semiconductor integrated circuits and high technology in Vietnam.
