On August 19, 2024, at the Enouvo Space Building in Da Nang, the Danang Semiconductor and Artificial Intelligence Research and Training Center (DSAC), in collaboration with Enouvo IT Solutions (Vietnam) and ThinkforBL (South Korea), organized the “Trustworthy AI Seminar & Networking: From Theory to Practice.” This seminar provided a valuable opportunity to foster business connections in the field of artificial intelligence between Vietnam and South Korea. It attracted the attention and participation of many business representatives and leading AI experts.

Knowledge and Experience Sharing

At the seminar, experts shared valuable knowledge and experiences on supporting businesses in providing OSMU services and preparing for the responsible and trustworthy application of AI. The discussions also covered Korea’s advanced AI development policies, along with insights and lessons learned from the implementation of these policies in practice.

The Importance of AI Development

Experts emphasized that the most important factor is not who creates AI, but how it is developed and applied. The adoption of AI cannot happen in an uncontrolled manner; instead, it is essential to selectively implement trustworthy and appropriate AI applications. To achieve this, it is necessary to research and apply AI development standards, build evaluation tools and models, and organize training programs on trustworthy AI development. This is also considered one of the emerging and highly promising markets in the field of AI.

Investment and Development in Da Nang

Speaking at the seminar, Mr. Lê Hoàng Phúc, Director of DSAC, shared that Da Nang is making strong investments in infrastructure to support the development of artificial intelligence. The city is also working to improve its legal framework, invest in infrastructure, and build ecosystems to support the high-tech industry. Da Nang warmly welcomes contributions and experience-sharing from Korean experts and hopes they will continue to provide guidance to the city in developing policies for this field.

The seminar opened up numerous new collaboration opportunities between businesses and laid a solid foundation for the future development of trustworthy artificial intelligence in Da Nang.
