Final Round Orientation: From Concept to Functional Prototype

Teams that successfully passed the preliminary round will advance to the Final Round, scheduled to take place on November 28, 2025, in an on-site format at the DSAC Center. In this round, each team is required to propose a project that integrates both FPGA and MCU technologies, demonstrating their ability to apply and combine both platforms in the design of embedded or control systems. The deadline for submitting project proposals is August 5, 2025. After this date, the Organizing Committee will compile the submissions and forward them to the Judging Panel for review, technical feedback, and guidance before teams begin the implementation phase. Finalist teams will receive support in the form of hardware equipment, technical documentation, expert mentorship, and partial funding to help develop and complete their project prototypes.

Looking Ahead: Toward a Stronger Semiconductor Talent Ecosystem in Central Vietnam

The FPGA & MCU Design Competition 2025 is one of the key initiatives under DSAC’s long-term strategy to enhance training, practical engagement, and technology transfer in integrated circuit design. It plays an integral role in the roadmap to develop a high-quality technical workforce that meets the demands of the growing semiconductor industry in Da Nang and Central Vietnam.

Through competitions and technical training, DSAC and its partners aim to lay the groundwork for a robust high-tech talent ecosystem, contributing to the vision of making Da Nang a national center for innovation and advanced technology industries in the coming years.
