On the morning of May 12, 2025, the Danang Center for Research, Training in IC Design and Artificial Intelligence (DSAC) had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of students from the Pearson UK Program, University of Economics – The University of Danang, for an engaging exchange and study visit.

During the session, Ms. Le Quynh Anh, Head of the Department of Research and International Cooperation at DSAC, shared insights into the founding journey of the Center and its core mission of developing a robust semiconductor and artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem in Danang. The talk also highlighted several strategic initiatives being driven by the city, aimed at establishing Danang as a hub for high-tech innovation.

Key highlights presented at the event included:

  • High-quality workforce development: Danang is targeting the training of 5,000 IC design engineers and 3,000 AI engineers by 2030, laying the foundation for a skilled, future-ready talent pool.
  • Attracting global talent and experts: The city is implementing policies to create favorable conditions for experts to live, work, and collaborate with local industries and institutions.
  • Startup incubation and enterprise development: Comprehensive support is provided for startups, including workspace, infrastructure, legal consulting, and market access.
  • Technology infrastructure advancement: Investment is being made in state-of-the-art research labs, co-working spaces, data centers, and high-performance computing platforms.
  • Enterprise support policies: Incentives such as tax reductions, investment benefits, and specialized high-tech development packages are in place to promote business growth.

The session sparked great enthusiasm among the students, many of whom expressed strong interest in participating in DSAC’s upcoming events, training programs, and innovation activities. It also offered a valuable opportunity for students to gain deeper insights into the emerging innovation ecosystem that is transforming Danang into a regional center for technology and entrepreneurship.
